This applies to you

  • Successfully completed technical or commercial training with relevant further training (e.g. technician, business economist, MBA) or a corresponding course of study
  • Several years of experience in technical sales, ideally in a manufacturing company with individual or small series production
  • Management experience and proven success in setting up or expanding sales structures
  • Strong technical understanding and interest in customer-specific solutions in an industrial environment
  • Confident manner, negotiating skills and strong communication skills – also in English
  • Experience in working with ERP systems (e.g. proAlpha, SAP or similar) and solid knowledge of MS Office
  • Structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working
  • Willingness to undertake occasional business trips at home and abroad

Your everyday work

  • Overall strategic and operational responsibility for the sales area (office and field sales)
  • Management of sales, budget and earnings development, taking into account defined targets
  • Developing and implementing international sales strategies with a focus on Europe to open up new markets, increase customer loyalty and boost sales
  • Management, development and motivation of the sales team – both professional and disciplinary
  • Close coordination with related departments and management of cooperation with sales agencies and international representative offices
  • Personal support for strategically important customers (key accounts) and conducting negotiations for major projects and individual customer solutions
  • Carrying out market, price and competition analyses to identify and implement new business potential
  • Direct reporting to the management and active participation in company-wide strategy projects
