Fully automated pipe production.
That makes you speechless, doesn´t it?
How can one describe the outstanding properties of our – now produced in a single production cycle – pipes in terms of weld quality, precision and corrosion resistance* without constantly repeating superlatives?
Our long-cherished wish has finally come true: the fully automatic production of pipes from blanks by round bending, longitudinal seam welding and flanging in one process – this is now possible with our new »Variostar 2100«.
- First continuous welding system in our market segment
- Modern high-performance solid-state laser welding technology
- Load-bearing capacity identical to the base material thanks to the use of a high-alloy filler material
- Maximised precision thanks to fully automated production
- Any diameter from 78 to 400 mm possible in millimeter increments
* for stainless steel
Welcome welding seam 4.0
The “Vario Star 2100” works with state-of-the-art welding technology: a high-performance solid-state laser, including the use of a high-alloy filler material. This ensures the full load-bearing capacity of the base material. Due to the high energy density, only minor structural changes occur.
Kammann can! Optimise now! High corrosion resistance* and greater process reliability
through smoother material flow.
- High-alloy filler material
- Load-bearing capacity identical to the base material

Too beautiful to be a pipe.
We don’t want to claim that our new fully automated pipe production line works with kid gloves. But the fully automated handling from the blank to the pipe most likely sets a whole new standard in terms of appearance.
Kammann can! Now more beautiful.
- Optically attractive welding seams
- Surface-friendly, automated production process

Actually one should not say “rounder”.
Archimedes would most likely be very pleased with us, as, the first time, the fully automated pipe production line now makes it possible for us to produce pipes that are much closer to the perfect circular shape. In practice, this means much more assembly-friendly handling and a more secure connection. The reduced ovality of the pipes relieves the strain on the overall system in the area of all pipe connections.
Kammann can! Now rounder!
- Low Ovality
- High reproducibility
